Anthony enrolled at Arizona State University to pursue a Bachelor’s Degree in Justice Studies, with a Philosophy minor. He is on track to graduate Cum Laude. He plans to attend Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law to realize his goal of practicing business and commercial law in Arizona.
Anthony gained an appreciation for a legal career while at The Office of the Yuma County Public Defender. This gave him perspective and exposure to public proceedings. He also interned at a personal injury firm in Phoenix to expand his skill set in insurance matters, demand letters, and client relations. Anthony is focused on effective communication and his positive energy is appreciated by clients and team members alike.
Anthony nurtures personal and professional growth. He is an avid reader; his favorite authors include Stephen Covey, John C. Maxwell, and Napoleon Hill. He also serves on the Historical Board for Los Abogados Hispanic Bar of Arizona and was previously a Justice Board member in Yuma for first-time juvenile offenders. He has developed a curriculum for financial literacy, interpersonal skills, and healthy living, which he taught at Durango Juvenile Detention Facility and Adobe Mountain School in Phoenix, AZ.
Anthony maintains a healthy lifestyle and finds peace in Arizona’s beautiful mountains; his favorite being Piestewa Peak. His best ideas come from the calmness of the mountains, which allows for reflection and intentional living. Anthony enjoys leaving the Valley behind in the summer to explore and embrace Flagstaff’s scenery, trails, and varying climates.
